DESCRIPTION: WW - Patek Philippe, Genève, circa 1930s, manual wind, 17mm x 41mm to lug tips, 15mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold hinged back case with faceted bezel, brown crocodile strap, refinished silvered dial with black painted indices, 18J, case s#610949, movement s#824387, triple signed. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 11.1 dwt (17.5 g).
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide, light scratches to plates; fine-plus refinished dial with light surface scratches and spotting, still retains some of its original enamel painting; excellent blued steel hands show light oxide; polished case shows ample wear, faceted bezel has lost most of its definition, hinge holding both case parts together is being held together by dreams and prayers and will break if not repaired, numerous small dents and dings most noticeably on the bezel and case back; replacement crown shows hardly any wear; good plastic crystal with excess glue visible.
